Minnesota Trout Unlimited and partners are enhancing the quality of in-stream and riparian habitat along the Sucker River, a tributary to Lake Superior in northern Minnesota.  The project involves:  1) in-stream placement of large woody debris and rock veins to create deep pool habitat and cover; 2) invasive plant control; 2) bank stabilization; and 4) restoration of native vegetation and tree canopy.  This work is improving habitat for brook trout and many other fish species
