The North Shore Stewardship Association restored native coastal forests to Minnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior by conducting at least five invasive species workshops and providing landowners with on-the-ground assistance for tree planting and invasive plant control. ┬áThese efforts are resulted in workshop participation by landowners and on-the-ground invasive plant control and tree planting on 200 acres. ┬áPartners include the NRCS, Cook County Invasive Team, North Shore Forest Collaborative, Conservation Corps Minnesota, and private landowners.
