The Conservation Resource Alliance and partners is controlling phragmites and other invasive species on shoreline habitat on six islands in the Beaver Island Archipelago. Control effort is being focused on protected wetlands, uplands and shoreline. This work is helping to restore and protect rare and threatened ecosystems unique to the northern Great Lakes. Many local and regional partners are helping to complete this project and are committed to sustaining invasive species control efforts through time.
